NEEDS IMMEDIATE HOME: Registered Great Bernese Male-17 months old in Tucson, AZ

Jake's Riker Boy's (Riker), family has fallen on uncertain times and can no longer care for him. Riker is a 17 month old (b/d Oct 2015) registered Great Bernese Hybrid. He is micro chipped, up to date on vaccines, unneutered, and POSITIVE for Valley Fever (medication is $40/month at compounding pharmacy in AZ). He does have a slight limp due to the Valley Fever but it does not seem to impede his play at all.Riker is friendly, loving, mischievous and good with children (his owner is a 9yo boy) and gets along well with other dogs of all types. He also was raised around cats which he stands over and licks to death, however, if they run he thinks its a game and does chase them. He was trained by his young owner Jake to walk well on a leash, obey voice commands including "no barks", and was house broken. However, with the unexpected loss of the family home and his young owner being separated from him traumatically Riker is have some issues and is very sad. Please give him a home. Price negotiable.
